I know I've been absent from this blog for over a month, but that's not because I haven't been reading. As overwhelmed with schoolwork as I am, I've been catching moments here and there to read, I just haven't had time to write thoughtful reviews of the books I've read, and I definitely didn't want to post off-the-cuff reviews! So here's a round-up of what I read since the beginning of March, along with the challenges they're helping me fulfill. Reviews of some may come later!
Pandemonium, Lauren Oliver (Delirium) - Dystopia Challenge, Speculative Romance
The Hunger Games, Suzanne Collins - Dystopia Challenge
Catching Fire, Suzanne Collins - Dystopia Challenge
Mockingjay, Suzanne Collins - Dystopia Challenge
Naked in Death, JD Robb - Suspense and Mystery
Glory in Death, JD Robb - Suspense and Mystery
Immortal in Death, JD Robb - Suspense and Mystery
Rapture in Death, JD Robb - Suspense and Mystery
Ceremony in Death, JD Robb - Witchy Books Challenge, Suspense and Mystery
Vengeance in Death, JD Robb - Suspense and Mystery
Holiday in Death, JD Robb - Suspense and Mystery
Conspiracy in Death, JD Robb - Suspense and Mystery
As you might be able to tell, I've been running a JD Robb marathon. Most of these books I've read already, but I'm re-reading them in order this time, and it's great fun!
I also - finally! - read The Hunger Games. I'll admit, it was the marketing for the movie that got me to finally buy the books and stop waiting for them at the library. So worth it!
I have only a few more weeks left to the semester, so starting in late May, expect a return to the YA world of literature, and more actual reviews. Yay!
