Nora Roberts delivers yet again!

And that's really all I have to say about it.

Except that I found the heroine, Fiona, stronger and more independent than others, and I love that. And the guy, Simon, is more unapologetically flawed, and I love that too. And while some of the last steps of the suspense were easy to predict, the whole thing really works, and (to use a cliche) my heart was in my mouth for a long while.

Well, I could go on. Funny how though Nora's books all follow a certain formula, and I like the same things about them all - which is why I keep going back for more - there's always something new to say about each book. That's true craft - delivering what your readers love, but always in a new package, with a fresh twist, so that it doesn't sound formulaic at all.

Nora's a genius!!

And that's really all I have to say!
