After I wrote this, I read School Li...I really did. After I wrote this, I read School Library Journal's review on Amazon, and two things: They mention Lois Lowry's THE GIVER, and as soon as I saw that, I thought, yes! That's another book this reminds me of. <br /><br />And then they say that the "biggest flaw is that the story is not finished." I was a little upset when I saw that there will be two more books. The open ending of this is what I like so much about it - it turns it from a complicated love story into a meaningful, thought-provoking book with depth!
